A special note: For those of you who have asked, or thought about asking, "Celsiana" is the name of an old English Damask rose. We bought ours from The Roseraie at Bayfields in Waldoboro, Maine, which unfortunately has gone out of business now. Here's their description of the Celsiana, taken from their erstwhile catalog:
The Celsiana Rose: "Parentage unknown, pre-1750 5x4. Clear soft pink flowers fading to blush, but with an ethereal silveriness from bud to petal fall. Semi-double with a boss of gold stamens and a strong fragrance. My 1994 romance, this rose made a 17-day suit that won my heart. Now it's a shameless, five-foot, come-hither lush."
