SOURCE DOCUMENT COLLECTION EDITOR

Editor's Note: This document is a letter, dated April 15, 1969, from attorney John E. Hosmer of Springfield, Missouri, to journalist Iain Calder. The letter was sent on behalf of Hosmer's friend, attorney Bernard Fensterwald, requesting the Calder send Fensterwald materials related to The Raleigh Call which Hosner had (apparently) supplied to Calder earlier. No reply letter from Calder either to Hosmer or to Fensterwald seems to have survived. -- G.Proctor

Iain:

Mr. Bernard Fensterwald, of 4036 North 27th Street, Arlington, Virginia, 22207, is an investigator of the United States Senate. He needs your Treon material and, particularly, the complete copy of the affidavit that Mrs. Treom signed and the telephone slip.

Iain, I would not ask you to send this matter to another newsman, since it is your story exclusively. Bud Fensterwald has been in my office and is a friend of mine and I would like these matters to be passed on to him. Mr. Fensterwald is thoroughly dedicated to getting Abe Bolden, who he has interviewed, out of prison.

Hope this finds you and the family in good health.

Sincerely,

John E. Hosmer
