Dear Mr. Blakey:
Reference is made to your letter of May 4, 1978 (Letter #1) reletive to your request for access to any materials relating to John David Hurt.
In that connection, enclosed is a copy of a page from a memorandum report dated July 23, 1951, which makes reference to a John Hurt. This is the only record that the Secret Service maintains on John Hurt and there is no way to determine from the reference in the report if the John Hurt referred to is the same John Hurt for whom the Committee is requestion information.
If I can be of further assistance to you in this matter, please contact me.
Sincerely, |
