(1800 Census, Wayne Co., NC, handwritten page #236) Hardy died in 1801 at the age of 69 in Wayne County, North Carolina.3 "Hardy Hooks, believed to be the first of the Hooks family to settle in Wayne County, lived in what is now the northwestern corner of the county. BARDIN were married in 1766 in Dobbs County, North Carolina.3,6 Drusilla (Drucilla?)
