HINTON3,4 was born on 22 December 1850.3,4,8 He died on 6 December 1928 at the age of 77 in Edgecombe County, North Carolina.3,8 He was buried at Thorne Cemetery in Edgecombe County, North Carolina.8 Thorne Cemetery is on "State Rd 1135 'Baie Rd' (at Tempest Hall, turn on SR 1124 then turn onto SR 1135). The graveyard is on a secondary road to the right of the Rocky Mount-Temperance Hall Highway, just beyond the point where Temperance Hall Road leaves Highway 43.

William A. HINTON and Dollie Winnaford FLY3,8 were married on 24 February 1874.3 Dollie Winnaford FLY3, daughter of John FLY and Winnaford Mary POWELL, was born on 12 July 1850.3,8 She died on 11 August 1914 at the age of 64.3,8 She was buried at Thorne Cemetery in Edgecombe County, North Carolina.8 Thorne Cemetery is on "State Rd 1135 'Baie Rd' (at Tempest Hall, turn on SR 1124 then turn onto SR 1135).
