James Christopher HOOKS¹ was born in 1858.¹ He died in 1929 at the age of 71.¹ He was a farmer and a minister Aycock's Church and Memorial Church in Fremont, Wayne County, North Carolina.^1,21 In addition to the nine children listed, they had "a daughter who died in infancy."
