26. Joseph Mosby CORNETT¹⁹ was born on 12 July 1865 in Elvaston, Hancock County, Illinois.^3,19 As a child, Joseph returned to the farm northeast of Linneus established by his grandfather William Cornett in 1834. (Source: The Browning Leader-Record, issue 26 March 1953.) He died on 18 March 1953 at the age of 87.¹⁹ He was buried in 1953 at Elmwood Cemetery in Linneus, Linn County, Missouri.

Joseph Mosby CORNETT and Mary Florence BROWN¹⁹ were married on 12 September 1894.^3,19 Mary Florence BROWN⁴² died on 7 November 1946.
