Pennie Laura PROCTOR^22,27,43 was born on 2 November 1909 in Edgecombe County, North Carolina.^43,44 She died on 30 March 2002 at the age of 92 in Rocky Mount Township, Nash County, North Carolina.⁴³ She was buried on 3 April 2002 at Peoples Chapel Cemetery in Elm City, Wilson County, North Carolina.⁴³ Pennie was probably named after her grandmother Laura Brown Proctor. She married a man named Proctor, and they had two sons. (Ruth Proctor Covert, 5/27/2000)

Pennie Laura PROCTOR and Ernest Webster PROCTOR^43,45 were married.^22,43,45,46 Ernest Webster PROCTOR^27,45, son of William Fredrick PROCTOR and Mary Etta JOYNER, was born on 16 December 1904 in Nash County, North Carolina.^45,46 He died on 13 January 1969 at the age of 64 in Wilson, Wilson County, North Carolina.^45,46 He was buried on 16 January 1969 at Peoples Chapel Cemetery in Elm City, Wilson County, North Carolina.^45,46 Ernest was a carpenter.⁴⁵
